ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Mitchel, a Yale graduate and experienced tutor who’s spent over a decade helping students succeed on the SAT and ACT.

These tests can feel intimidating, but I believe they’re learnable. I’ve helped hundreds of students boost their scores and gain admission to top colleges, including Harvard, MIT, Columbia, and many more. My approach blends content review, test-taking techniques, and a clear, personalized study plan tailored to each student’s strengths and goals. Whether your child is aiming for a top score or simply looking to feel more confident on test day, I bring patience, encouragement, and a proven process to every session.

While SAT and ACT prep is at the heart of my work, I also coach students on college essays; support those preparing for the ISEE, SSAT, and Hunter College High School entrance exam; and work with students on executive functioning and academic skills.
